North Davis is defined as everything in the city of Davis north of Covell Blvd and includes the communities of Covell Park, Northstar and Wildhorse.
North Davis is primarily residential and is graced by a large greenbelt and park system: the largest of these being beautiful Northstar Park. The Marketplace shopping center at the edge of the neighborhood includes a major grocery store.
The Covell Park neighborhood is known for its wealth of retro mid-century homes built by the Eichler-influenced Streng Brothers; the community of Northstar boasts a range of custom and semi-custom homes, mainly built in the late 1980s and 1990s; some of the most affordable real estate in Davis can be found in the McKeon condominium development off of Poline Road; and if you love to golf, Wildhorse is one of the newest developments and golfing communities in Davis. Many of the Wildhorse homes are built around the Wildhorse Golf Club which features an 18 hole championship golf course.
